Billy made a big mistake and now the ship is not working as well as it should - the same thing happened with Adam and Eve. All it takes is breaking one rule to make things just fall apart.  Rules are there for a reason, and no matter how good you are - you can be tempted to break them in some way.  No matter who may have tricked you, the consequences go to you because we each have the wonderful freedom of choice.  Use it wisely!

Oh no! IT looks like Captain D is running low on gas.. and there is something else blocking the Starship Truthprise from moving on... what can they do?

In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was both human and divine.

Sometimes we are in such a state that we can only have help by a very powerful person.  The entire world needs Jesus.  God sent him, His very son, to give us an example to live by.  Only a full human and divine being could have done what Jesus did here on earth! Born of a virgin - and the Holy Spirit ... Living a sinless life ... the miracles he was able to perform ... the sacrifice on the cross ... His resurrection ... and lifting to the right hand of God! What an amazing God we serve!

The Starship Truthprise is doing well in its mission! The first planet has a strange custom of threes! Why in the world would a planet be like this?

While we only have one God, we recognize three distinct persons that our God operates in. There are not many times that the Bible mentions all three persons of God at the same time.  This story the most prevalent and powerful. God the Father showing approval of His son to the world.  The Holy Spirit showing it's approval and closeness to Christ, and Christ showing a servants heart to guide us in the proper way to live.  There are many powerful moments in scripture to show us the acceptance of each part of God! Jesus prays to His father to give us a good example and show that His power is from God.  Jesus dies and comes back... leaving again to give us the Holy Spirit, a helper gaining an even more wonderful access to God.

2 Kings 22 - Finding The Book of The Law

The Captain and Billy are not going to make it far not knowing how to use the engines to the ship!  The same goes for us - if we do not read or learn what God has instructed to others to write, we are not going to make it far. 

The King of Jerusalem, Josiah, while working on the Temple of the Lord, The Book of the Law was found.  The king had it read to him and immediately saw the importance of what it said, tearing his clothes and declaring over the nation to make the changes the book called for.  Do you listen to God when he speaks to you through His word as quickly as Josiah? 

All 66 books, around 40 authors of the  Scriptures were all inspired BY God for US! That is a gift we cannot ignore! Crack open your Bible today and read the voice of God!

Hezekiah after his illness and healing from God

When Hezekiah was told all his treasures would be gone he only saw the value of his life. On one hand this is good because he understood the life God granted him was more important than the treasures all his forefathers had gathered, BUT on the other hand - he could not see because of his BIG HEAD in showing Babylon all his riches he had set up a future for others full of slavery,  We need to understand both!! Have pride in God and no other AND understand the treasure God has given us in our lives. God, and access to heaven are treasures to us, but the treasure that we have been searching for, is really ourselves.  To God, our lives are treasures.  He wants nothing more than us to CHOOSE to live for Him, that is why He gave us the Bible, our map, Jesus, our Captain, and the Holy Spirit, our compass.  He WANTS us to make it to our treasure, and His treasure to make it to Him!

This prophet enters this land with a word from God and all the instructions (or map) that he could ever need. He was righteous and firm in declaring the word of God but still he was deceived by a lie. We must be careful using all the tools provided to us by God and always be aware that there are those out there that would choose to trick us even when looking like they want to help us.
