Sally Storie's Quest For The Armor of God : Lesson 2 - Belt of Truth

Sally Storie Interview :

Memory Verse :

John 14:6

New International Version (NIV)
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Behind the Scenes with Doe Doe, Dee Dee, and The Lie Detector (An Object Lesson about Lies) :

Doe Doe shows the Lakewood kids what can happen when you choose to tell ONE lie.

Bible Lesson :

What does it help us fight?
Lies
How do you equip it?
KNOW THE TRUTH

Abraham lies about Sarah (Genesis 20)

With only one lie a person creates a web of problems.  Abraham and Sarah found this out when he was afraid that men would kill him to steal Sarah for themselves. The good thing is that God spoke to Abimelek and told him what he was doing was wrong.  The made Abimelek find out the truth and got everything cleared up and set up protection for Sarah.  We should remember that telling the truth can only do what is right.  If we lie we are only spreading fiction.  Fiction is not helpful in important situations.  If you know the truth then you know how to properly act in certain situations.

Sally Storie's Quest For The Armor of God : Lesson 1 - Spiritual Warfare

Sally Storie Interview :

Memory Verse :

Isaiah 54:17

New International Version (NIV)
no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord.

Doe Doe and his Boxey Friend (An Object Lesson about Spiritual Warfare) :

Doe Doe shows the Lakewood kids how we cannot see the battle inside another, be we can see their actions.

Bible Lesson :

Moses lifting staff for them to win

Ephesians 6:12 Our Battle

A definition of spiritual warfare can only get you so far.  When Moses and Joshua fought the Amalekites we can really see how a battle that is more spiritual can go.  If we find ourselves in some kind of battle, whether it be our time or some choice we must make we should remember the example of Moses and the nation of Israel.  The important part of the battle had nothing to do with strength or the ability of the men to fight, but instead only in the ability of Moses to hold up the standard and do as God called him to.  One good thing to remember is that while no one can exactly do our job for us, they can create and be a support for us in what God has called us to.  The more that we are focused on holding GOD up in our minds, then the more the spiritual battle around us will be won!
