Little Bo Peep - Lesson 3 of Nursery Rhyme and Silly Songs

Little Bo peep has lost her sheep
And doesn't know where to find them.
Leave them alone and they'll come home,
Bringing their tails behind them.
Little Bo peep fell fast asleep
And dreamt she heard them bleating,
But when she awoke, she found it a joke,
For they were all still fleeting.
Then up she took her little crook
Determined for to find them.
She found them indeed, but it made her heart bleed,
For they left their tails behind them.
It happened one day, as Bo peep did stray
Into a meadow hard by,
There she espied their tails side by side
All hung on a tree to dry.
She heaved a sigh, and wiped her eye,
And over the hillocks went rambling,
And tried what she could,
As a shepherdess should,
To tack again each to its lambkin.

Matthew 18:12
Amplified Bible (AMP)
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray and gets lost, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountain and go in search of the one that is lost?

1 Samuel 17
David The Sheppard

Before David fought Goliath there was a compelling argument by David to Saul to let him try to fight the giant. Like Little Bo-Peep David lost a lamb, but it was not as simple for him because he had to actually fight a lion and a bear to get it back. When David tells Saul in verse 37, " ... The Lord delivered me..." giving credit for the accomplishment to God.

Jesus cares this much for YOU!! He will NOT fall asleep like Bo-Peep or need to chase you around to fix your tails.  He will be like David, ready to fight anything that comes your way! Ready to go the long haul for that ONE lost soul!
